SSUM complaint

Imphal, Dec 18, 2016:

     The Socialist Students Union of Manipur (SSUM) has sent a complaint statement to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to declare United Naga Council (UNC) who has been taking unlawful activities and trying to create communal tension as a terrorist group, said a release signed by publicity secretary of SSUM Noarem Tanoranjan.

     It further said the people of Manipur are facing a lot of hardships due to the economic blockade imposed by UNC which has already crossed a month is an act of crime against humanity and hence UNC must be declared as a terrorist group.

     If the central government does not declare UNC as a terrorist group, SSUM along with the people of Manipur will carry out various forms of agitation, said the release.
